Imbasjaya Sdn Bhd has been presented with an industry excellence award recognising four decades of wholesale food distribution in Sabah. The award was announced at a regional trade event in Kota Kinabalu and accepted on behalf of the company by members of the management and warehouse teams.
What the award recognised
The judging panel highlighted three areas: consistency of supply through a fully air-conditioned warehouse, the growth of the KKK brand of repacked staples, and reliable scheduled deliveries to retailers across the state.
“This award belongs to everyone who sorts, packs, drives and sells every day. Our customers depend on us to have stock when the market is short, and that is what we work for,” said a company spokesperson.
Looking ahead
The company plans to use the recognition as a platform to expand its import network for onions, garlic and ginger and to add new lines to the KKK range in the coming year.
