A six-week project to reorganise pallet racking and loading bays at our Kolombong warehouse has been completed, with no interruption to customer deliveries.
What changed
Fast-moving lines such as onions, garlic and rice were moved closer to the loading bays, and new racking added vertical storage for dried goods and groceries. Clear aisle markings and a revised picking route mean forklift drivers travel less distance per order.
The results
- Order picking time cut noticeably during the morning dispatch peak.
- More pallet positions for seasonal stock ahead of festive periods.
- Safer separation between forklift lanes and walking areas.

The work was carried out in stages by our own warehouse crew together with a racking contractor, mostly outside peak dispatch hours. Thank you to everyone involved for keeping deliveries on schedule throughout.
